IT frightens the life out of me to hear David Cameron putting our forests up for sale.

We need a modern day Robin Hood who has the forest at heart.

Hamsterley Forest is up for grabs in this scheme.

I often complain that our country doesn’t belong to us any more – now it seems to be coming to pass.

Let’s all get behind Professor David Bellamy who has the woodland at heart and is a local man.

There are plenty of young people who use the forest for their sporting activities who could help by lending their support.

Are we just going to stand by and watch this sell off happen because we are too complacent to do anything ? Time will tell.
