SPENDING reductions in the bloated public sector could be achieved by cutting out all equality and diversity jobs.
I suggest they be replaced with a memo stating that, in future, common sense will apply to all situations.
Other non-jobs such as business change managers and anything with a confusing-sounding name could be axed.
This will free up busy local councils so they can deliver the core services such as collecting our rubbish, gritting the highways, maintaining good schools and overseeing sensible planning policies that we all need.
