OVER Christmas, Sky Television presents a new National Geographic programme called “Jesus, The Missing Years” on channels 543 and 526 HD at 8pm, on Monday, December 27.
I would recommend Christians (and others) have a change from a diet of Sky Movies and Sky Sports to watch this programme.
The documentary investigates where Jesus was between the ages of 12 and 30, a period not covered by the four gospels of the New Testament.
Information has been available (but possibly surpressed) for centuries that Christ’s ministry was more in the Indian subcontinent than in the Palestinian Holy Land.
We should welcome evidence that Christianity had far wider origins than that presented by Western European religions.
As a Christian and a scientist (but not a Christian scientist) I look forward to viewing this programme.
