OVER the past few months, I have been repeatedly written to by the TV Licensing Authority in an increasingly intimidating and threatening manner, on the basis of its belief that I have a television set and have not paid a licence fee.

Apparently it makes no difference if TV Licensing is advised otherwise as the bombardment continues.

I believe ten per cent of households do not have a television set. If they are similarly maltreated, it will be a costly exercise to the BBC TV licence payer.

The sooner the TV licence is abolished and this bit of police state comes to an end the better.
