I CAN only agree with GN Bull (HAS, July 6) about cars being driven with headlights on in the middle of the day as I have noticed this, too.

But what I would like to know is this: why do certain drivers put themselves and others in danger when they overtake without indicating on the bypass road around Darlington?

They seem to think that there is a middle lane for them to pull out without warning and then cruise down towards you. If we all drove like that not a lot of us would be here.

I use the Darlington bypass every day, sometimes twice, and believe me not once have I driven along it and this trend not happened to me at least once. If you are one of these morons, why?
