I WROTE to inform Durham County Council on June 12 that grass cutting at Trimdon Station and Deaf Hill seems to have gone down in standard, but have not yet had a reply.
After it has been cut by the county, people are coming out with their lawn mowers to finish the job.
Grass cuttings are being left and are untidy; why can the grass cuttings not be collected and recycled to compost?
The public are doing their best to keep the place tidy and recycle. Does anyone check the areas out after the “Dodgem”
cars have been to cut the grass in our villages?
George Martin, Trimdon Station, Co Durham.
