AFTER all the recent coverage of job losses in the car industry, I was surprised to read in an advert in your Weekend Motors supplement (Echo, Jan 16) that all Vauxhall cars and vans will increase in price on February 3 by as much as £1,075. It seems that some of the manufacturers may have decided to just press the self-destruct button.
