NO doubt the recent reports of seven UK deaths related to the rare blood-clotting syndrome (CVST) amongst recipients of the AstraZeneca vaccine will be seized on with glee by anti-vaxxers.
Whilst these deaths are obviously regrettable, all vaccines have some side-effects, so we should not be too surprised by this news.
In any case, the fact remains that unfortunately Covid-19 has caused more than 126,000 deaths in the UK, so you are still 18,000 times more likely to die from Covid-19 than you are from having the vaccine.
I know which odds I prefer to take!
