AT the weekend, we hear two Covidiots travelled from Liverpool and Leicester to Ambleside to go camping.
One of these morons took ill and so phoned for assistance, resulting in one of their rescuers falling 500ft.
Their penalty for their stupidity? A £200 fine, whereas the rescuer received life changing injuries. The law is such a joke in this country.
Them two should hold their heads in shame, and the media should disgrace them.
They should also be made to pay that poor man’s medical bill for the rest of their lives. It was their choice to go out in that atrocious weather for fun when they shouldn’t be out at all, but the rescuer was there out of selfless duty as all the brave mountain rescuers are.
