WE are still in November, weeks away from Christmas, yet and a lot can happen between now and then, which may change things either way.
Why do we have to be in such a hurry to relax and suffer later? When we have a Budget, petrol, tobacco, wine and beer prices can be increased from midnight the same day which proves the Government can do things quickly if need be.
Surely if need be, for everyone’s health, you can get presents and wishes to people for one year without mixing if we have to - you are a long time dead.
I am from Birmingham and live in Durham and we have five grandchildren in Birmingham who we have not seen, except on FaceTime, since February half term, and it hurts, but because of the love we have for each other, we will not take ridiculous chances. If anything happened after a visit, it would be on our own conscience.
