ONCE upon a time, a young man named Dominic was walking in his garden when he espied a pair of old buildings and he thought to himself: “Those old buildings would make good cottages.”

So he called on his fairy god-builder to turn the buildings into cottages. His fairy god-builder came to the garden and waved his magic trowel over the buildings and they were transformed into two beautiful cottages.

And Dominic was pleased.

Many years later, Dominic, who by now lived in the Big Smokey City, far, far away, felt ill so he decided to go the long, long way to his cottages and stay there until he felt better, even though he knew he was very naughty to do so.

So he called for his magic horseless carriage and it took him to his cottage and Dominic was pleased.

But The Angry Trolls from the newspaper and television company saw Dominic and said: “Dominic, you are a very naughty boy to come all this way from the Big Smokey City when you are ill.”

And Dominic thought:” I have a Very Important Friend, he will make the Angry Trolls go away.” So he called his Friend and his Friend made the Trolls go away. And Dominic was pleased.

But then, the Man From The Council came and said: “Dominic, you have been a very naughty boy. You changed your old buildings into cottages without telling me, but since you have a Very Important Friend we’ll say no more about it.” And Dominic was pleased.

But then, The Tax Collector Man came and said: “Dominic, you’ve been a very naughty boy. You should have paid me lots and lots of tax money for your cottages but since you have a Very Important Friend we’ll say no more about it.”

And Dominic was pleased and he and his Very Important Friend lived happily ever after.

The End?
