Letters: 'The government consists of Eton and Cambridge educated who have never done real work in their life'
PEOPLE continue to complain vehemently and indignantly about the Government’s handling of the Covid crisis – but seriously, what do they expect?
The Government consists largely of ex-public school boys, Eton and Cambridge educated, who have probably never done a stroke of real work in their lives.
If that’s not a recipe for indolence, irresponsibility, immaturity and contempt for the poor (ie us) I don’t know what is.
Anyone at our level who still thinks Johnson and the rest care tuppence about them – or about this country for that matter – is overdue a wakeup call.
