Letters: 'The coronavirus statistics show that the inequalities in our society are deadly'

THE coronavirus statistics clearly show that inequalities in our society are deadly, with those from poorer and/or BAME backgrounds suffering the worst. The Government’s response is to set up an inquiry. However, both David Cameron and Theresa May held similar inquiries, and did virtually nothing with the recommendations, and I fear that Boris Johnson’s will prove the same. It’s about time we had action rather than words!
