I, LIKE millions of others have had Dominic Cummings up to the back teeth – love him or loathe him, here are the facts,

1) He drove from London expecting his wife and indeed himself were affected by the Covid-19 virus, placing their four-year-old child at massive risk of contracting it in a very confined space, breathing in the same recirculated air as them.

2) He then drove to Castle Barnard (as many who haven’t done their homework call it) to see if his eyes worked? Oh and this just happened to be his wife’s birthday?

Ha-way man, who drives if their eyes are dodgy? I mean you do need them. Apart from any other reason, the fact his eyes were giving him concern should be a major concern to the police, who say he may have committed an offence but are not going to act.

So if you’re ever pulled over two sheets to the wind you can always argue with PC Plod that you were just seeing if you were safe to drive with a G&T in one hand and one eye up the chimney!

This is not recommended unless of course you work for Boris.

He did wrong, no ifs or buts, and should have put his hands up and admitted his wrongdoing.

He isn’t an MP, but obviously an important asset – or maybe liability – to the Government. Whatever, he’s not getting the sack so must be of some use.

Let’s move on and get this vicious pandemic over with. Use your own common sense because obviously those who govern us haven’t got any.

AFTER watching Dominic Cummings’ excuses for his failure to either abide by his own rules or tell the rest of us of his interpretation, I have one question I would like answered. If he came to Durham with the sole intention of having his son cared for by his sister, why did his wife subsequently take his son to the hospital in Durham when both parents showed symptoms of Covid-19, and his sister was next door who could have taken the child?
