I FORGOT to mention in my last letter "Good neighbours" (HAS, Mar 30) the name of Andrew Lovell, who lives in the village of Skeeby.
Andrew has been a godsend to my lovely wife, Vera, and I, in taking us both (before and during this horrible time) in his car shopping to Catterick Garrison, as we have walking difficulties, as well as other health problems.
Thanks also to Kim and Charlie Wells of Richmond, as well as Nicola and Bryant of Catterick Garrison (all close family friends) for their recent offerings of help to us.
God bless all of the medical people, throughout the world who are helping to try and eradicate this really terrible virus, and all other people who are doing everything possible in helping the vulnerable and elderly, like family friends and neighbours who are willingly offering their help.
Without these people goodness knows what would happen.
Roland Bramham, Richmond.
