WITH regard to the Great North Run, I have run it once and collected £100 for a charity.
Now the organisers of the race are shouting about the amount of money the race has raised – but it is the people who have raised this money, not the organisers.
Now we have entry fee of £60 plus and the race company never provides any profit and loss account so we can see where the money goes. I reckon we’re talking £2m plus here so I think the public have a right to know.
How about the Great North Run publishing a profit and loss account for 2020?
