ON Sunday, I took my young blind friend, Kimberley, to the gala night at Darlington Civic Theatre to mark its centenary. What a brilliant night it was, and worth every penny of the entrance fee.
They say "Variety" is the spice of life and we were certainly entertained by the brilliant cast. So may I say a big thank you to the producer, manager and all the staff for making this a night to remember by spicing up my life, even if it is only temporary.
