Letters: 'I was very impressed with the dedication of staff at University Hospital of North Durham'

Unfortunately there was a six-and-a-half hour wait, due, I imagine, to shortage of staff.

However, I was very impressed by the dedication of all the staff who attended me.

The cleaning lady worked non-stop, the receptionists were very pleasant and helpful, the nurses couldn’t do enough to help relieve an anxiety and the doctor who attended me was extremely helpful and re-assuring.

We still have very dedicated staff in the NHS and I look forward to the day when we can have more money poured into what has always been an outstanding service.
