THE EU Withdrawal Bill has now been passed by the House of Commons, but with changes which severely limit Parliament’s ability to scrutinise the Brexit process, and also gives Ministers draconian powers to amend and even repeal any Brexit related legislation without consulting Parliament at all.

Whilst it was obvious that with their new Parliamentary majority the Tories were going to be able to “get Brexit done” however they chose, this feels too much like a right-wing dictatorship for comfort.
