AFTER issuing its “fully costed” election manifesto, Labour found £58bn down the back of the sofa to compensate the WASPI women whose plans were hit by changes to equalise the state pension age for men and women.
As a man who retired aged 65, five years after my female colleagues, can someone explain why blokes like me shouldn’t be back paid for the five years we missed out on?
