YOUR poignant headline "The best of us" (Echo, Nov 30) on the London Bridge terrorist attack and your story described how the public and the police were the heroes.
Sadly two people lost their lives as a result of a knife wielding man with a hoax explosive body belt.
The only thing that could have been distasteful to people was that the London mayor, on national television, attempted to politicise what had virtually just happened.
Then to turn it back on the broadcaster by saying they had asked the question.
Not sure the journalist asking the question was looking for a political answer so soon after such an horrific event.
