ALTHOUGH many MPs are still advocating a second referendum, they must acknowledge that few of the actual voting public will have a real understanding of the complexities surrounding Brexit or, more importantly, the Withdrawal Agreement.
When politicians both here and in Europe have debated and negotiated their differences for the past three years, giving the electorate another referendum on such a defining decision for the country is inconceivable.
Perhaps, due to Brexit fatigue, there is a strong possibility that the turnout in the event of such a referendum would be lower than in 2016 making the eventual result questionable and create even more instability.
