TO obtain a greetings card I paid a visit to a card shop in the entrance to Darlington’s Queen Street today (Aug 10).
I couldn’t believe my eyes, not only did I see a good collection of cards I was looking for but a fantastic display of Christmas cards. This in the early part of August!
Next week I suppose they will be singing carols.
In silent protest, as I am a bit of a coward, I decided to go elsewhere for the card I wanted. I was successful. I do, however, apologise to the shop if they have already started singing carols in the church they attend.
