AFTER reading and hearing about the huge decline of wild birds I just wonder how many people in the UK know of the inhumane trapping and shooting of many species of wild birds in some countries around the Mediterranean areas.
Spain, France, Malta, Egypt are amongst the biggest culprits who supposedly do it to follow a long tradition and it appears that the decline of wild birds is a huge factor when they shoot, trap and apparently, some glue tree branches to trap these birds.
Hope our government can do something. Myself and many others love to watch our wild birds. Here’s hoping.
