BISHOP AUCKLAND MP Helen Goodman is right to say “throwing bricks is not the answer” (Echo, Apr 9).
The behaviour of those responsible for breaking windows at her constituency office is deplorable.
I strongly disagree with Ms Goodman’s position on remaining in the EU customs union, but I believe that the best way to express our differences is through constructive dialogue.
That’s why I have organised Brexit: The Town Hall Meeting at Bishop Auckland Town Hall on Monday, to give the public an opportunity to have their say and to hear from a balanced panel of experts what the current options are for the UK’s relationship with the EU.
