A ROAD closure on Northallerton Road, Brompton, which should have ended in January is now to continue until March causing immense trading problems to shop owners Jackie and Manjit Bains (Echo, Feb 7).
Surely in this situation North Yorkshire County Council and construction firm Taylor Wimpey should be offering compensation for loss of earnings to the unfortunate shop owners.
