THE late Enoch Powell once said “All political lives, unless they are cut off in midstream at a happy juncture, end in failure”.

However he did not know what would happen in the late 20th and early 21st century.

After failing in politics it seems most politicians manage to overcome this hurdle and land plum positions of no consequence but with big salaries, the latest being Nick Clegg (£1m a year).

Where did I go wrong? I thought my working life involved in making goods for this country and for export was worthy and successful, obviously I am wrong.

So what we need is thousands more politicians who will fail then make loads of money to make this country great again!
