FURTHER to the report ‘Britain to come forward with new Brexit proposals’ (Echo, Sept 21), the Brexit deadline is looming ever-closer.
The reports suggest that the 27 European Union countries are playing hard ball in the latest episode about the UK leaving Europe.
The rock and a hard place saying comes to mind as our PM Theresa May seems she cannot convince most of her own Tory Party about her Chequers plan and the EU are digging in against her.
Some politicians believe people have changed their minds and would want to remain in Europe.
As a Remain voter, I am more likely to vote Leave. One could think “do we want to be part of what appears to be an EU dominated by politicians who will not compromise at any price?”
