AN article described a competition which invited people to vote for the best parks (Echo, Sept 6), but if there was one for the worst park, Albert Hill Park in Darlington would certainly win.
Littered with broken tree branches, discarded pieces of furniture, and other pieces of debris, it is a disgrace.
Where are the council workers who usually pick up debris? We don’t see them anymore. The back streets of Albert Hill are a disgrace, very rarely cleaned.
How children don’t get injured or have accidents on the park is a miracle.
