IN response to Jo Jones of Darlington’s letter ‘Litter everywhere’ (HAS, Aug 1), I know exactly how they feel.
I and our other villagers live in a lovely, tranquil setting blighted by more and more rubbish and dog faeces.
As Jo Jones states, the council turn up whenever they feel like doing any work.
The ensuring mess of litter is appalling, as the grass cuttings and dog mess are spread even further. I hate to think what the homes look like of these mindless morons who throw litter. If they wish to live surrounded by their mess, do so, but don’t inflict your insulting behaviour on law abiding citizens who respect others, as we were taught when young.
