THE Brexit vote is causing more changes and uncertainty. None of the political parties are completely happy about our exit.

Will we retain our Japanese car-building and railway-building industries? We’ve already lost our steel.

When Tony Blair was in power, he pushed the Tories out of office for years. He was the best leader this country has had for years. He was blamed for the war in Iraq, even though he toppled Saddam Hussein, who was responsible for atrocities and needed removing from power, and so he prevented many more murders. Mr Blair had the backing of America and our European Allies.

I am 84 years of age and can remember another Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, sending our troops to Norway to be slaughtered by the Germans on the beaches.

I personally lost two uncles in Norway – one of them, Uncle Norman – had been injured escaping from Dunkirk.

I can’t understand why our country wants to leave the EU and I think it is a big mistake, leaving us isolated and without friends. I think we should scrap the exit vote and think again.
