AFTER the complete disaster of the Blair Years, anyone in his or her right mind would try to bow out modestly and, more importantly, quietly.

Instead, the bellicose Tony Blair chooses to attack the Press. Does he not realise that he is seen as the most cynical manipulator of the fourth estate? His simpering to the Press on the day of the Princess of Wales' death was gut-wrenching, to say the least. His distortion of the truth over Iraq puts him, in my opinion, in no position whatsoever to criticise any branch of the Press.

He has shown in this attack his lack of character and, yet again, a complete lack of judgement.
