WITH regard to the letters from Peter Wilson and Pete Winstanley (HAS, both June 5) pouring scorn on John Hoodless (HAS, May 31) for wanting foreigners to be sent back to their own countries.

They do not take into account the fact that we are being dispossessed of our homeland by immigrants.

Other countries do not let in foreigners en masse as we do under this Government.

Israel, for example, recently had 200 Sudanese entering its country.

The Israeli government imprisoned some, put others to hard labour and announced they would hand over any more immigrants to the UN.

For the sake of our own descendants, we should do the same; otherwise our own children will not have a country to call their own.

Mrs Pamela Harrison, Newton Aycliffe, Co Durham.
