I TOTALLY agree with Kev McStravick's views on the Gurkha pensions (HAS, Apr 4).
My father fought alongside the Gurkhas during the Second World War in Burma, and he always said that they are the best fighting soldiers in the world.
It is an absolute disgrace that all these brave men do not receive the same pension as other servicemen and women after their services to Queen and country.
Instead of handing billions of pounds to foreign causes each year, the Labour Government should give these brave soldiers the financial credit they truly deserve in their retirement.
