WITH the news of Bob Paisley being properly recognised, I would like to interest people in where he is buried. He is in St Peter's Churchyard in Woolton, Liverpool 25, not far from Eleanor Rigby, made famous by the Beatles. It is a few hundred yards from Strawberry Field, and John Lennon's childhood home of 251 Menlove Avenue. Bob's son works in the church, and the church hall opposite is where Paul McCartney first met John Lennon on July 6, 1957 at 4.15pm.
Hope this is of interest.
Kit Fowler, Spennymoor.
