I WOULD like to thank the staff of the accident and emergency department of Darlington Memorial Hospital following my accident on January 16, at 2.10pm at Cockerton, Darlington, near the pedestrian lights close to Somerfields store.
The ambulance staff who looked after me - Dawn and her colleague - and all the hospital staff made me so relaxed, I can't thank them enough.
I would also like to thank the people of Cockerton, who were first on the scene. They included one girl who looked after me and a gentleman who went to tell my wife who was in the car park behind Somerfields.
The police were also very helpful.
Again, our thanks to them all.
AE Legg, Middlesbrough.
