HELEN WOOD’S shock win in the recent Big Brother final was merely a victory for bullying.
It gives the impression that it is fine to bully other people and end up with a reward (in this instance the £100,000 winner’s prize).
But for receiving a free pass to the final on the opening night, Ms Wood would surely have been voted out in the early weeks.
Subsequently, her aggressive and nasty behaviour towards some of her fellow contestants, should have led to her being expelled from the show.
The producers’ failure to take this course of action suggests that they had already decided on Helen as their winner.
This result has offended the British sense of fair play, and left a bitter stench, that may come back to haunt Endemol (the programme makers) in due course.
