IT is amazing to think that this time a year ago we were basking in summer temperatures.
Back then I asked why we are enjoying summertime temperatures in March and April?
I wondered what explanation – if any–- the experts at the Metrological Office could give us.
This year has been quite the opposite.
The first snow fell in December and there hasn’t been a week since when we haven’t all shivered as a result of a very hard frost.
Now there are reports that this could go on until May.
I am reminded of the saying: “March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb.” What's changed and why?
