THE BBC Radio Two programmers have changed the time of the long-standing Sunday evening Half Hour show to Sunday mornings.
Thousands of people (especially the elderly, like myself) really enjoy listening to and enjoy singing the hymns.
Now I personally will have to go to bed earlier on Saturday evening so I can get up earlier to listen to Sunday Hour, which will start at 6am, because, usually at this time, I am turning over for my second sleep.
I do hope that the Paul O’Grady show and the David Jacobs’ musical show will keep the same times.
Also, I hope my other favourite shows on BBC Radio 4 – Women’s Hour, The Archers and Desert Island Discs – are all staying on at the same times, as well as Colin Bunyan’s three hour vintage vinyl Sunday afternoons on BBC Radio Tees.
Otherwise, I will have to listen to Classic FM instead.
Roland Bramham, Richmond.
