ONE of the things that makes The Graham Norton Show so successful is the fact the guests all get the chance to mingle on the sofa, instead of just being interviewed one at a time. It means you usually get a genuine conversation, rather than a couple of plugs and a well-rehearsed anecdote.
Tonight, Martin Freeman drops by to talk about playing Bilbo Baggins in Peter Jackson’s new movie The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. He’ll be joined by Emma Thompson, who’s recently written a new Peter Rabbit book. They won’t be able to stretch out too much on the sofa though, as Dawn French and Lee Mack also drop by. So, if Girls Aloud fancy a sit down after performing their new single, they could be out of luck.
