A MAN was arrested for affray following reports that he was seen brandishing a knife in the street.
Cleveland Police were called to Cherelle Gardens in Hartlepool at 6am on Sunday morning following reports from members of the public concerned about an armed man in the area.
A team of police negotiators were able to speak to the man who surrendered before being arrested on suspicion of affray.
