A collection of wedding dresses, including one worn 60 years ago, will be on display at Yarm Methodist Church as part of its 250th anniversary celebrations. The gowns, belonging to members of the congregation, can be seen at a coffee morning organised by its ladies’ friendship group on Saturday, April 13, from 10am to noon, followed by a lunch from noon to 2pm.

WINDOW SMASHED: Police are appealing for information about two 'chubby' boys after a newsagency window was smashed on Vaughan Street in Skelton, east Cleveland, on Monday at about 9.35am. The two teenage suspects aged about 15, were believed to have been carrying bottles of cider when they were seen running from Vaughan Street to William Street. Anyone with further information is asked to contact PC Andy Micklewright at Guisborough Police Office on the non-emergency 101 number.
