Goalkeeper Marwin Hitz has been sent a bill for 122 euros after deliberately scuffing up the penalty spot during a game in Germany.
Hitz was playing for Augsburg when opponents Cologne were awarded a penalty.
The goalie proceeded to scuff up the spot, causing Cologne's Anthony Modeste to loose his footing and the penalty was saved.
Cologne, who lost 1-0, sent Hitz the bill to cover the cost of a new piece of turf and two hours labour for the groundsman.
Hitz has promised to pay the bill and Augsburg have also sent Coologne a branded lawnmower as a goodwill gesture.
