Comedian Rob Beckett is one of 21 stars heading on the new series of Celebrity Traitors.
He, alongside friend and fellow star Romesh Ranganathan, is among many comedians taking part in the new series.
Here is everything to know about his career so far as he prepares to take on TV's ultimate game of lies and deception.
Life and career of Rob Beckett
The London-born comedian, actor and presenter worked in a flower market and an office before entering comedy. He decided on the career after watching someone perform badly at a comedy club while working there.
Beckett later said he entered a competition, kept being asked back and eventually earned similar money to his office job.
He began stand-up in 2009, then attended Adelaide Fringe Festival, where he was nominated for best newcomer in 2011. His Edinburgh Fringe debut followed in 2012.
From 2012 until 2014, Beckett co-hosted I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! NOW!, the ITV2 spin-off from the main show, with Laura Whitmore and Joe Swash.
He announced his departure in October 2015 to concentrate on his tour and was replaced by David Morgan.
Since 2016, Beckett has narrated reality series Celebs Go Dating, a role he has enjoyed since then. Since 2016, he has also been a team captain on More4 panel show 8 Out of 10 Cats, and appeared on Taskmaster and Mock the Week.
He also presents Sky TV series Rob & Romesh vs..., in which he and fellow comic and presenter Romesh Ranganathan travel around the world, explore celebrities’ lives and careers, and take on challenges.
Romesh is also appearing on Celebrity Traitors, with the pair’s friendship expected to be a talking point on the show.
Ahead of his appearance, Rob said he had no preference between being a Faithful or Traitor.
He said: "Claudia knows who will be best suited to make it a great game, and I want it to be a great game.
"So, I'd happily be either. Claudia and the producers are the experts in this, not me, but I'm very happy to do both, and I've got no qualms about killing people off."
He has also spoken about his friendship with other comedians appearing on the show.
The comedian said: "I think I'll just find the whole scenario hilarious because it's just so surreal to be around that group of people, and to be with a few people I know.
"Romesh, obviously everyone knows we're such good friends, but Joe Lycett and James Acaster, I did gigs with them nearly 20 years ago, in pubs in Soho in front of eight people, and now all of a sudden we're in this situation."

When does Celebrity Traitors start?
The new series of Celebrity Traitors will return on Thursday, October 1, and will air twice weekly on Thursdays and Fridays at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
The official video podcast and spin-off show, The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked, will also be back on BBC One, BBC iPlayer, and BBC Sounds.
Also new for 2026 is a special titled Traitor or Faithful? Claudia Decides, available on Thursday, October 1, from 9.15pm on BBC iPlayer.
It will reveal how Claudia selects her Traitors, offer a more personal look at the contestants and give viewers fresh insight into her decision-making process.
