The BBC has announced the exact start date for Celebrity Traitors, along with a picture of the celebrity lineup posted on Instagram, and fans are all saying the same thing.
This “eclectic mix of people and personalities” will appear in the second series of the celebrity spin-off of the original series, both of which are hosted by former Strictly Come Dancing host Claudia Winkleman.
Among the lineup this year is singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock, formerly part of the hugely successful girl group Little Mix, and fans are excited to see her join the series.
In the comments of the Instagram post, many fans shared their support for Leigh-Anne, with one account saying: “Let’s go Leigh-Anne so ready for this!!”
Another said: “Leigh Anne for the win!”
This person commented: “Leigh-Anne is giving main character”.
Someone else said: “Here for @leighannepinnock”.
How does The Traitors work?
The BBC shared: “Host Claudia Winkleman will welcome an eclectic mix of people and personalities ranging from BAFTA and BRIT award winners through to social media stars plus some of the UK’s most cherished actors, comedians, presenters and beyond as the celebrities question who they can and can’t really trust, figure out who deserves to be banished and try to discover which of them is plotting murder under the cover of darkness.”
Each player will begin the game as a Faithful, and a few will become Traitors.
In the day, they work together in tasks to add money to the prize pot, which is donated to charity in the celebrity series, and work out who they think are the Traitors.
At the end of the series, Faithfuls must make sure they have banished all the Traitors so they can split the prize money.
If there are any Traitors present, they steal all the money from the Faithfuls, leaving them with nothing, so it’s vital that they work together to take them out of the game.

Throughout the game, Traitors can 'murder' players, removing them from the game, while all players can vote at the Round Table to get rid of people they think are Traitors, but this often leads to Faithfuls banishing Faithfuls.
