Morrisons shoppers could save big this month thanks to a limited-time offer on its rewards scheme.

The supermarket chain is offering the scheme through its Morrisons More loyalty programme, giving selected customers 10% off if they spend £250 by June 30.

The offer applies to both in-store and online shopping, provided customers scan their More Card during each in-store transaction or ensure their card is linked to their Morrisons online account.

Morrisons said: “You can shop as little and as often as you like to build up your total, this includes any shops you do both in-store and online as long as you scan your Morrisons More card with each transaction.”

How can I get the new Morrisons More offer?

Purchases are tracked automatically and can be viewed on the Morrisons More app, website, or printed receipts.

Online orders count towards the total but may take up to 72 hours after delivery to appear in the customer’s account.

The scheme is only available to selected customers, who are advised to check the homepage of the Morrisons More app or website to see if they are eligible.

Those who reach the spending threshold will receive a reward equivalent to 10% of their total spend.

Rewards will appear in the 'My Offers' section of the customer’s account within 72 hours of completing the challenge.

They must be activated before use.

In related news, Morrisons is also trialling new AI-powered shopping trolleys at its Riversway store in Preston.

The smart trolleys, known as Caper Carts, are equipped with touchscreens, cameras, sensors, and built-in scales.

These features allow the trolley to automatically identify products as shoppers place them in their baskets.

Shoppers can use the trolleys to weigh fruit and vegetables, track their spending in real time, and link the trolley to their Morrisons More account to receive personalised offers while they shop.

The technology is already in use by several major retailers in the United States.

Morrisons will become the first supermarket to trial the system in the UK.
