Starbucks has confirmed that a sweet treat that was once on shelves and discontinued for a short time is now back and available to buy.

The Chocolate Caramel Shortbread has been “missed” by the coffee shop chain’s customers, it said.

As a result, it made the decision to bring the item back to UK stores, meaning customers can pair it with their favourite drink or enjoy it on its own.

Starbucks told Newsquest: “We know how much our customers missed our Chocolate Caramel Shortbread, so we’re delighted to bring it back this Summer with a new and improved recipe featuring Belgian milk chocolate and an all-butter shortbread base.

“Customers can try it along with our brand-new Summer beverages in-store now.”

If you pop to Starbucks, you’ll also be able to get your hands on the new Cloud Frappuccino blended drink range.

It’s a smooth, layered beverage which combines Starbucks’ popular cold foam with its Frappuccino, and there are three flavours to choose from - Strawberry Matcha, Brown Sugar, and Caramel Mocha.
