A major crackdown on "dodgy" Amazon Fire TV sticks is continuing across the UK and is primarily targeting 17 areas across England.
This clampdown on the networks of pirates distributing these devices began last year and has continued at full throttle for months now.
Discussing this campaign, the Federation Against Copyright Theft (FACT) said it would continue to target areas "where the data shows that illegal streaming activity is taking place".
This comes after a recent warning was made to those using illegal streaming apps on their Amazon Fire TV sticks.
The apps that allow users to watch live sport and other programmes for free are said to lack proper security, putting thousands at risk of malware and other nasty viruses.
More than 30 suppliers across the country have already been targeted, with a 42-year-old man from Newport being arrested on suspicion of involvement in the selling of these fire sticks.
Kieron Sharp, Chairman of FACT, said: "FACT’s enforcement activities against illegal streaming are ongoing throughout the year.
"Together with our partners and the police, we constantly review new intelligence and target those areas of the UK and Ireland where the data shows that illegal streaming activity is taking place.
"Our investigations are thorough, and we are relentless in our determination to stop illegal streaming and bring offenders to justice. To avoid jeopardising operations that are in progress, we do not share details publicly until enforcement action has been completed."
