The excitement for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest is heating up.
Girl group Remember Monday will represent the UK in the international singing competition this morning (March 7).
The group, made up of Lauren Byrne, Holly-Anne Hull, and Charlotte Steele, was revealed as the UK’s artist on Scott Mills' BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show.
Following the news, many will no doubt be planning parties and events to enjoy the popular annual event with friends and loved ones.

When and where is Eurovision 2025?
The 2025 Eurovision Song Contest will take place at the St Jakobshalle Arena in Basel, Switzerland.
The semi-finals are on Tuesday, May 13 and Thursday, May 15, with the Grand Final on Saturday, May 17.
A total of 37 countries will take part in Eurovision 2025, which will mark the 69th edition of the contest.
Switzerland will be hosting the competition after the country’s victory at last year’s event in Malmo, Sweden, where Nemo’s song The Code was crowned the winner.
The UK at Eurovision: 68 years of musical highs and lows
The country topped the jury vote and came fifth on the televoting system.
Tearfully accepting the trophy on stage, Nemo said: “I want to say thank you so much – I hope this contest can live up to its promise and continue to stand for peace and dignity for every person in this world.”
How to watch Eurovision in the UK
Both the semi-finals and Grand Final will be broadcast live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer as well as on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds.

A total of 31 will compete to make the Grand Final on May 17.
The exact running order of the countries will be decided closer to the time of the event.
The United Kingdom will be able to vote during the second semi-final on Thursday, May 15.
