Reddit users were reporting issues with the social media site on Tuesday evening.

Redditors have been unable to navigate the site or use the app which comes after Spotify, Discord and Twitter experienced outages this evening.

According to Down Detector, issues started just after 9pm with people complaining that they couldn't get the app or website to load.

Problems with the social media site were recorded across the UK on Down Detector including London, Edinburgh and Nottingham.

Of the problems reported, 76% related to problems with the app while 18% related to problems with the website.

A further 6% of problems were linked to its server connection.

One user on the Down Detector website noted:"We had some trouble getting to reddit" More like..We have alot of trouble getting this app to operate normally."

While another user on Twitter said:"Wait, Reddit is down too? What the heck is happening?"

 

And a third said: "Made through Spotify only for Reddit to be down now".

Reddit is yet to comment on the outages reports.

According to the heat map, the worst affected areas are Edinburgh and London.
